Sara Kae is a young Indigenous artist born and raised in Thunder Bay. Sara’s music is best described modern, R&B, pop with electronic and Indigenous sound infused throughout. Sara does not shy away from helping her community using her music to do so. Starting at the young age of 12, Sara was visiting communities and schools to help encourage and promote healthy lifestyles and the following of your dreams to Indigenous youth. While Sara grew up, her parents took in youth who struggled with substance abuse, poverty and inadequate living situations which has shaped Sara and her goals to be a role model in her community. While finding herself in similar situations of bullying due her Indigenous heritage, she has come to reclaim her power for herself and her people. Sara is a force to be reckoned with her determination to succeed to become that role model on a large scale.

In the Thunder Bay region, Sara was gigging consistently and doing workshops. In 2019, she graduated from studying at Metalworks Institute as a vocal major in the Music Performance and Technology program. Within her time of attending Metalworks, she has released her debut single “Fool For You” and her debut EP “STONES” following with a music video release for her song “Time”. Sara Kae released a Christmas single "Now That You're Here (It's Christmas Time)" and is now preparing for a year full of new releases that Sara has accumulated over the years that

truly shape her sound as an artist.

Kae was recently working at 106.5 ELMNT FM (a Toronto based radio station owned by APTN) as an on-air personality during their Maximum Music Weekends (Saturday's from 6 to 10 AM and Sunday's from 7 to 11 AM), but is now taking the year to obtain a diploma in Music Business.
